The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

Redesign of the first three books of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Taking each books storyline and, of course, the galaxy, to create a mind-boggling design and texture.

Inspired by an iconic object and space. The texture is created by using a towel and incorporating it into the design. Children books would have readers use their sense of touch to follow along with the story, and thought why not for a comedic sci-fi series. As the jacket is taken off, a translucent book cover is revealed, and as readers open the cover they will get a sense of space.
